Cellulite has become a burden that most women have been plagued with. The most common areas are the buttocks, thighs & even the stomach. Having cellulite might keep some of us self-conscious women from wearing swimsuits or even shorts.

Some common questions that are raised when discussing cellulite are: What causes cellulite? How do I get rid of cellulite on my legs?

I have read many articles to find the answer to what causes cellulite. What I have found is that nobody really knows. I have seen many theories such as: genetics, hormones, lack of exercise, poor diet and even wearing your underwear too tight.

How do you get rid of cellulite? From what I have read, it is actually not as complicated as what causes cellulite. A few suggestions are:

1) Diet: Try eating foods rich in more healthy fats such as avocados & peanut butter and get rid of the foods with the bad fats such as french fries, chips, sweets etc. Also, try to drink water throughout the day.

2) Reduce Stress – Stress can mess with our metabolism and how our bodies handle fat and calories

3) Lead as healthy life style as possible: reduce the use of alcohol, take your vitamins, get adequate sleep, quit smoking etc

3) Targeted Exercise – Try exercises that are targeting the areas in where you want to reduce cellulite. The exercise will not only burn fat but help you tone the problem areas.

Use your common sense. Really, are any of the items listed above things you did not already know? I am not a doctor, just a woman that was tired of cellulite and took action.

Dark circles may be a result of any number of things: a highly pigmented skin condition inherited from our family genetics, enlarged blood vessels under the delicate eye skin, dehydration, fatigue, overexposure to the sun, or the aging process can bring it on, as well as medical conditions pertaining to thyroid or renal issues. Even menopause can do its share in bringing on dark circles. The skin underneath our eyes becomes even more delicate as we get older, and the veins under the eyes grow more prominent as we age. If the blood vessels are enlarged, a cold compress can restrict the blood vessels, reducing the appearance of dark circles. If the problem is hereditary, a dermatologist may be able to supply you with a cream that can help lighten the skin. When choosing an eye cream to deal with dark circles, look for sun-protection to help fight the pigmentation problems. Many eye treatments contain “optical diffusers” that can reduce and conceal the dark circles, using light-diffusing pigments. Creams with vitamin K may also help reduce the appearance of dark circles.

Fine lines and crow’s feet may be making their appearance under your eyes, and in the corners. Why are wrinkles so common in this area? 1) The skin is thinner because there are a lesser amount of oil glands located around the eyes, and 2) our everyday facial expressions make use of our eye area, whether we are squinting, smiling, or laughing. Smoking can also be a culprit in causing crow’s feet. Wrinkles and fine lines are made more obvious when skin is dry, so keeping the area moisturized will keep it looking supple, and fine lines will be less obvious. Because many of the products available to combat fine lines and wrinkles contain more emollients, they are recommended for aging, normal to dry skin. Many of these products that treat wrinkles and fine lines contain vitamins A, C, and E, as well as antioxidants. Vitamin A, in the form of retinoids, softens lines and wrinkles, shields and strengthens the skin, by increasing the creation of collagen. Retinol is becoming more and more common in many skin care products, read reviews.

When searching for the right eye cream, don’t forget how important it is to keep those eyelids safe from the elements. With all of the protection they provide for our eyes, it isn’t uncommon to experience irritation or infection on the eyelid. Be careful when applying products near the eyelid; be sure to use sensitive makeup removers — don’t rub the makeup off. If you’re using a cream on the eyelid, try to choose something that’s recommended for sensitive eyes, or those who wear contact lenses, as the eyelid is a particularly sensitive area, and even the most common eye creams should not be used up there. Try using a cold moist tea bag wrapped in napkins or paper towels; the tannic acid provides a gentle relief.

But all she got for her efforts was some red skin. So Carlson avoids wearing dresses or skirts and wears a skirted bathing suit to the beach.

She’s not alone, and that is why the interest in anti-cellulite creams is so strong.

Linda Wells, editor-in-chief of Allure magazine, says the new products claim to help with the appearance of cellulite, and do not say that they can banish it completely

‘No cream will get rid of cellulite,’ Wells said. ‘And they don’t really say that they do. What they say is ‘help the appearance of cellulite.”

Caffeine is in almost every cellulite-reducing product that shows any benefit, because it helps blood flow to the skin and works like a diuretic, Wells said, adding that it flushes you out.

‘In removing moisture from the skin, it firms it, albeit temporarily,’ Wells said.

Retinol is supposed to work by being able to penetrate the skin, exfoliate it, and increase collagen production, which makes skin thicker and hides the dimpling fat.

But the question is how much is needed in the products to achieve the effects, because too much can dry out the skin and cause it to redden and peel, Wells said.

Other creams boast the ingredient dimethylaminoethanol or DMAE, an antioxidant derived from fish that when combined with amino acids supposedly stimulates the muscles to contract and become firmer.

But doctors said is no scientific proof that cellulite creams are effective in getting rid of cellulite or reducing its appearance.

Women who believe that they can eliminate cellulite through creams, or even weight loss, are likely to be disappointed, said Dr. Garry S. Brody, a professor of plastic surgery at the University of Southern California.

The good news is that I know about a  good, safe and cheap method of removing tattoos. But on the Internet, there are some very stupid alternatives, and what is worse, so easy to find, and I want to warn you about them.

Magic Wand Home Tattoo Removal System.

Basicly, this is an iron. And it removes tattoos. Can you imagine having an iron placed on your skin for five minutes on high heat? For me, it’s just too much. This so called ‘invention’ can help you, but surely will leave a serious scar for the rest of your life. Literally – it will burn your skin. I know what it is like, I had a burn on my forearm, and belive me – it took me a year, to recover completely. What is more – an open wound for such a long time makes you vulnerable for infections. And how about a pain? There’s a piece of rubber included in the set, so you can chomp down on.

Sand the tattoo off! How about this one?

There are many professional sanders available on the internet, you can choose for example Black and Decker, or some smaller ones. Instead of burning your skin, this method will rub it off. It’s insane that some dudes perform this! Bleeding is guaranteed. If you do something wrong, it may be really bad at this point (a serious blood loss). After that, an open wound that you have to take care for ‘just a couple of weeks’ to prevent from nasty infections. Sounds great right? Of course, serious amount of pain, and scars for live are involved too!

Acid – TCA(Trichloroacetic), Glycolic

Acid also destroys your skin. The main problem with people who tried with acid, is that they use too much acid and destroyed too much skin. Chemical burn may differ from others, but it also is a serious damage that cannot be ignored, because leaves you unprotected against various kinds of infections.

What I want to recommend you, is a natural treatment, that by means of natural remedies will allow your skin to deal with tattoo, instead of removing tattoo AND the skin. Skin is important, it’s good to have it. Here’s the link: http://www.squidoo.com/at-home-tattoo-removal
